Sucha Beskidzka Castle

A Renaissance castle, known as the “Small Wawel,” is a landmark of the town. The castle courtyard, with its charm, resembles the royal castle in Kraków, inviting visitors to discover the mysteries of bygone centuries. The Old Church and Monastery Building

The Old Church in Sucha Beskidzka is a monumental architectural work that captures the attention and hearts of visitors. Together with the monastery building and four chapels, it forms a unique monastery-church complex, an important part of the local heritage. The church, founded by Piotr Komorowski and built between 1613 and 1614, is an example of Gothic architecture with Renaissance decorative elements. It currently serves as the parish office and is an essential part of the cultural heritage of Sucha Beskidzka.

The Parish of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary

The charming church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Sucha Beskidzka was designed by Teodor Talowski. The building was constructed between 1897 and 1908, with the main benefactors being the Branicki family and the local railway workers. Today, the church serves as a key place of prayer and reflection, offering an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Rzym Inn

The iconic Rzym Inn, dating back to the second half of the 17th century, is an example of wooden architecture that preserves the traditions of folk construction. Centrally located in the town square of Sucha Beskidzka, it is a place where history meets everyday life. It is here that Adam Mickiewicz set the action of his ballad “Pani Twardowska”. Today, visitors can indulge not only in literature but also in delicious traditional Polish dishes.

Hotel Monttis is also an excellent base for enthusiasts of Babia Góra National Park, located nearby, just 23 kilometers away.
